New FAN-CREATED PROMO WEBSITE launched for TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL - Diehard fans seeking a future for the original hit TV show

Todd & The Book of Pure Evil, an original hit TV series from Canada's SPACE Channel, continues to grow its fan base even after being discontinued in April 2012. Fans are swiftly popping up in the U.S., Canada, Russia, the UK, Australia, Brazil and many other Todd-hungry nations, frantically looking to secure a future for the TV show after Season 2 left us with an epic cliff-hanger. Fans have created an ongoing SAVE TODD documentary (View The Documentary), have created a SAVE TODD petition at Change.org (Sign The Petition), held a rally at Toronto's Fan Expo and now have a slick new fan-created SAVE TODD website (www.SaveToddAndTheBookOfPureEvil.com)

For Those Who Don’t Know:
Following a book of awesome power that makes teenagers’ deepest, darkest desires realized at horrifying cost, TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL is a tip of the hat to 80’s teen comedies and horror flicks that is best described as Breakfast Club meets Evil Dead 2.

www.SaveToddAndTheBookOfPureEvil.com - A fan website created by uber-fan Zach Lanich & approximated at a $5,000 value was launched on March 1, 2013 in attempt to spread the word about the TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL TV Series and give fans an entertaining place to gather and show their support for the show.

This new fan-created OFFICIAL SAVE TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL WEBSITE provides up-to-date articles from all around the web, videos, screenshots, interviews from cast/crew, links to merchandise and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr), and a fully-featured FAN ZONE that allows fans to submit their artwork, download wallpapers & ringtones, chat with other fans and much more!

At the heart of the website are two key pages “What is Todd?” and “How Can I Help Save Todd?” that provide newcomers with all the information they need to know about TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL and properly inform fans of how they can help secure a future for the TV show.

What are people saying about TODD & the new SAVE TODD fan site?
If Evil Dead & Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a drunken one-night stand, Todd & the Book of Pure Evil would be their hilariously inappropriate love-child.
-(Martin Whitmore – Primary Contributor of Artwork for the fan site)
I am obviously very optimistic on the show coming back one way or another, I may be naïve but the show is too good to just disappear.
-(Save Todd Video Documentary Facebook Page)
I'm really impressed by the quality and the extensiveness of this fan site - I wish we had Zach's skills when we made our own official website for the show.
-(Andrew Rosen – Executive Producer, Todd & The Book of Pure Evil)

TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL fans are fighting as much as possible to see more of TODD in the future, so be sure to head on over to www.SaveToddAndTheBookOfPureEvil.com to help SAVE TODD so he can SAVE US!
We guarantee to bring you the rest of the story of Todd & The Book of Pure Evil, in some way, shape or form - even if it ends up just being written in fortune cookies (which isn't a bad idea...but not a great one either.) With the momentum from our fans like Zach, there's no doubt in my mind that we'll be seeing more of Todd in the future.
(Andrew Rosen – Executive Producer, Todd & The Book of Pure Evil)

TODD & THE BOOK OF PURE EVIL stars Alex House (DARK ORACLE) as pot-smokin’, heavy-metal-rock-god-wannabe Todd Smith; Maggie Castle (The Time Traveler’s Wife) as righteous babe Jenny Kolinsky; Bill Turnbull (BEING ERICA) as Todd’s best bud Curtis Weaver; Melanie Leishman (TRUE CONFESSIONS OF A HOLLYWOOD STARLET) as big-brained Hannah B. REVIEW : Artificial Evil: Book 1 of The Techxorcist by Colin F. Barnes

Before I get into the review, I have to state that Science Fiction is normally a genre I steer clear of when it comes to reading.  As to why I decided to review this book, I really don't know.

Artificial Evil,  is centred around the story of Gerry Cardle, who is tasked with building and maintaining the computer programme that decides which of the citizens of the domed city are selected for the Death Lottery.  He lives as charmed a life as can be expected for someone like him in this overcrowded and crumbling city, that is until one morning on his way to work, Gerry is selected for Death Lottery.  Gerry panics and flees  when his own  Death Clock is activated, which leads him straight into the arms of Gabe and Petal, two hackers who live completely off the grid, and so begins the adventure to discover just who or what is behind the activation of Gerry's death.

Artificial Evil is a top class novel.  Colin wastes no time in getting down to action.  This is a story that is stripped down to the bare operating system, it is not infected with loads of bloatware, or lines and lines of unnecessary coding.  Colin knows what makes for a great and thrilling science fiction thriller, loads of action complimented by interesting and three dimensional characters, surrounded by a believe able world.  And Artificial Evil has this in bucket loads. All held together with some excellent and witty dialogue exchanges.

This is a great start to what is looking to be a highly enjoyable trilogy  based on the strength of this  book I will certainly be picking up the rest of the trilogy

INTERVIEW FIVE MINUTES WITH JULI D. REVEZZO

Today's guest is Juli D. Revezzo.  Juli D. Revezzo is a Florida girl, with a love of fantasy, science fiction, and Arthurian legend, so much so she gained a B.A. in English and American Literature. She loves writing stories with fantastical elements whether it be a full-on fantasy, or a story set in this world–slightly askew. She has been published in short form in Eternal Haunted Summer,  Dark Things II: Cat Crimes (a charity anthology for cat related charities), Luna Station Quarterly, The Scribing Ibis: An Anthology of Pagan Fiction in Honor of Thoth, and Twisted Dreams Magazine. She recently released her debut novel, The Artist’s Inheritance.

Could you tell the readers a little bit about yourself?

Thanks for having me here, Jim!   Let’s see… a little about me? I am a Florida girl who grew up enamored of stories, gained a degree in English Literature with a focus on the Gothic authors of the 19th Century. I maintain my web presence at http://julidrevezzo.com and on twitter: @julidrevezzo and of course on Facebook too, as well as many other places around the web.

Do you prefer the term Horror, Weird Fiction or Dark Fiction?

Dark fantasy, with a dash of the supernatural.

Who are some of your favourite authors?

I have tons of favorite authors! Poe, Michael Moorcock, Virginia Woolf. H.P. Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, Poe, and J. Sheridan LeFanu, Anne Rice, of course and authors like Patty G. Henderson as well as many fantasy authors. The list could go on and on.

 What are you reading now?

I'm currently reading Alice Walker's Practical Magic.

Which book do you wish you had written?

Juli D. Revezzo: Ooh, that's quite a question. I'd love to have written Frankenstein.

If you could use any other author’s creation in your own work, who or what would you use?

I tend to favor originality myself, though I suppose a lot of the creatures in horror and fantasy aren't original are they? If I *had* to make such a decision... *thinks* probably Coleridge's She Life in Death. *nods*

Describe typical day spent writing. Do you have any unusual writing habits?

I dream about my stories from time to time so the first thing I'll do on such a morning is jot down whatever I can remember of the dream. I don't usually get cracking on actual word count until afternoon, however.  Unusual writing habits? I'm not sure I have any.  I do tend to because of carpal tunnel, sometimes move my chair out of the way and type standing up, ala Virginia Woolf. The different angle seems to help alleviate the stress somewhat.

What piece of your own work are you most proud of?

The Artist's Inheritance. It's my first published novel and I'm very proud to say it creeped my first set of readers out much more than I thought it might! *lol*

What is the hardest lesson you have learned with regards to your writing?

How to market it. Though it’s always nice to meet friendly new people and to find those who really love my work, it’s a bit time consuming and sometimes it feels like a great long trudge through something on the order of the Bog of Eternal Stench. ;)

What do you like to do to relax?

I do a little yoga, read and watch movies. I love movies, of almost every ilk. Although I must admit to being a bit of a wimp when it comes to slasher flicks. I prefer more surreal and fantasy-heavy horror.

Can you tell us about your last book, and can you tell us about what you are working on next?

My last book, The Artist's Inheritance is about a woman whose husband, upon moving into his dead brother's house, is gripped by an Otherworldly drive to create a beautiful chair. She hates his current work as it's driving him insane. Nor does she like the patrons who come around trying to get him to give the thing up. Something about them scares her. Then she starts seeing ghosts and gaining hints that her husband's family curse might have something to do with all this. She'll join forces with a local coven and battle hell to save him. After all, isn't that what families do? :)

Your readers will have to check it out for themselves to see how it all works out.

I've also released a second story in the series this past Christmas and the second full novel is with my editor right now. So, I hope to have that out soon. I've also written a few other little dark goodies. House of Cards is out now as well. It's a supernatural horror story (unrelated to TAI) about a young nobleman who escapes the Reign of Terror in 18th century France to find himself dragged into an even worse fate--a hellish underworld wherein he is cajoled and put on trial by a demon tribunal for crimes he never committed.

I'm working on a companion piece to that one right now. These are both available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Smashwords should you be interested.

Thanks for having me here today, Jim!
